Ministries
The Prayer Ministry was established to serve as a support system to the leadership of Evangelistic Center. This Ministry, known as “The Super-Natural Communication Prayer Ministry” provides prayer coverage for the First family, and the vision of Evangelistic Center. Our mission is to help lift the hands and heart of our leaders as they go forth in ministry: to undo heavy burdens and enslaving yokes from upon them through fasting, prayer and intercession. The prayer ministry consists of dedicated men and women who believe that God has called our leaders for such a time as this, to lead God’s people into their God ordained inheritance.

If you have visited Evangelistic Center at least once, you have no doubt noticed that there are many Men who are a part of this ministry and have a passion and a desire to follow after God.
The Men’s ministry is an essential ministry in any church because God has placed the calling upon men to act as Christ’s subordinate “head” of the body of Christ (I Corinthians 11:3). This is a daunting responsibility that Christ has laid upon the shoulders of Men and it explains why we are admonished to equip Men for the work of Christ (Titus 2:6-8). It is with this vision before us, that Evangelistic Center has established the Men’s Ministry. Every man, which God brings into this ministry, will be encouraged into the role of spiritual leadership that God has ordained for their lives and thy will be motivated to use the gifts and talents God has given them so that they might fulfill their God-ordained calling.

Evangelistic Center Men’s Ministry is committed to fellowship and Biblical exhortation in the lives of Men so that Men might find encouragement and strength in their relationship with other godly men and be equipped to use their Time, Talent, and Treasure for the Kingdom of God.
Under the leadership of Lady Carolyn Vaughn, the EC’s Women’s Ministries is a dynamic ministry to women, which consists of several ministries functioning to assist women in all areas of life.
The Women’s Ministries here at E.C. is not just beneficial to women within the congregation, but also to women within and beyond the walls of the community. Our goal is to touch the lives of women and young girls by the transforming power of Jesus Christ through mentoring opportunities and by providing an atmosphere for women to develop their gifts, abilities, and lasting Christian relationships.

The youth ministry is dedicated to a complete 360 in every young person’s life. God not only seeks to change your direction, but He seeks to completely turn your life around. These exciting groups of young people are seeking to find ways to radically change this world for Jesus Christ.
Many people cast dispersions upon the young people today, but the apostle Paul told “don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity” (I Timothy 4:12). This is the motto of the 360 youth ministry as we have fun, fellowship, and learn to walk in the purposes of God.

Kingdom Builder’s Children’s Ministry
Who Are We? We are Kingdom Builders with kingdom purpose, making kingdom investments to the Glory and Honor of God.
Children’s Church is held on every 2nd and 4th Sunday and each Tuesday night for children age 3-11.
The vision for the Evangelistic Center‘s Children’s Ministry is to win children to Christ and assist in their spiritual growth. Our desire is to continue to reach out:
- To children with the message of Christ's unconditional love,
- Guiding them to grow into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
- Nurturing in them a heart to serve.
Children’s Ministry includes five areas of ministry; Praise & Worship, Christian Education, Hospitality, Fine Arts and Recreation.
Our Purpose is to teach children:
- What it means to serve God and how to serve
- How to serve God and have fun
- Why it is important to serve God in the Spirit of excellence
- How to apply Bible truths to everyday living
- How to be equipped with necessary tools to face social and secular issues as they arise.
Our goals include:
- The reinforcement of the vision and purpose of our church
- The reinforcement of family values and Christianity
- The reinforcement of life skills
- The importance of team work
We strive to:
- Identify the needs of each child as an individual
- Nurture and assist the development of identified gifts and talents
- Create a fun and safe environment for our children to learn and express their love for God
The Puppet Ministry provides an exciting time for our children.
The well anticipated production of "The Moses Show", provided by
Midwest Puppet Designs, is a word-filled electrifying experience enjoyed by
children of various ages. Our goal is to reach the children by offering them puppet shows that are interactive, musically exciting and spiritually inspired. From the moment our puppets take the stage the children find themselves actively engaged."The Moses Show" is one wild roller-coaster ride full of FUN!!!!!!!!!
Strong families are the mandate of this ministry. The foundation is built on a foundation of Love, Communication and most of all commitment. We offer encouragement and foundational enhancement to strengthen married couples relationship by providing opportunities for involvement in , “One Flesh” Sunday School class, Social events, and workshops.
Evangelistic Center's Singles' Ministry is built to equip those who have never been married or through circumstances are widowed or divorced to live their lives in complete satisfaction because God has a plan to utilize your station of singleness to build His kingdom."
The Word of God states that “each one should retain the place in life that the Lord assigned to him and to which God has called him” (I Corinthians 7:20). The singles ministry is designed to provide avenues of fellowship and spiritual maturity through the Word of God so that we might walk in the wholeness that God intended for our lives.
Evangelistic Center is a place where singles find their God-ordained purposes and begin to walk in them in the power of the Holy Ghost.

The mission of our prison ministry is to address the spiritual needs of all incarcerated individuals by bringing them the love, hope, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, to help them know Jesus as their personal Savior, to mature in their faith, and to transition back into society as productive citizens. This is accomplished through regular Bible Studies, praise and worship services, and a variety of other activities. Our Prison Ministry is under the direction of Bill and Teddy Rogers of Prime Life Ministries and is staffed by well trained, motivated and dedicated volunteers. Through their efforts, inmates are being saved, delivered, healed, encouraged, and prayed for and many lives have been and are being changed.
The Evangelistic Center Music Ministry unite in harmonic voices and instrumentals to set the atmosphere for the Spirit of God to empower, motivate, and inspire the congregation to share in God’s glorious presence.
Come experience the move of God through praise and worship as we minister in song through traditional and upbeat music styles. The Sanctuary, Youth, and Children’s Choir support the ministry in ushering in the power and presence of God through songs of praise. Music is the prelude for God’s word, which enables us the freedom to worship God in Spirit and Truth.The teaching ministry of every church is vitally important for it is due to the “lack of knowledge” that God’s people are “destroyed” (Hosea 4:6). In the Scripture we often refer to as the “Great Commission” of Christ, we find Jesus reminding us that we “make disciples” through “teaching them to obey everything I have commanded” (Matthew 28:19). It is this teaching ministry of Christian education that provides the basis of all structure within the body of Christ. The education ministry of Evangelistic Center seeks to provide adults, youth, and children with the very best in education with the Word of God as the supreme foundational rule of all teaching.
Acts 1:8 fuels the call of this ministry.
Our purpose is to answer the divine mandate and develop evangelism outreach in the local community and around the world. The anointing of the Spirit of God provides the power to “witness” the glory of Christ to “Jerusalem” (our immediate city), “Judea” (the metropolitan area), “Samaria” (those areas not normally touched by the local church), and to the “ends of the earth”. This ministry is dedicated to reaching others for Christ and bringing them into the body of Christ so that they may continue to grow and mature in the knowledge of our Lord.
EC Actors Studio serves as one of many creative arms of the Evangelistic Center ministries. Our primary focus – to present God’s Word on stage while supporting the vision and teachings of our Bishop Jack C. Vaughn and Pastor Carolyn Vaughn. The Actor’s Studio provides an outlet to men and women of all ages. You are welcome and encouraged to join us. Actors, directors, writers, dancers, musicians, whatever your area of interest or talent, there is room for you in the EC Actors Studio.
J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Ministry
"Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works" Hebrews 10:24
The aim of this ministry is to assist the senior citizens in areas of special needs, activities and fellowship. We endeavor to strengthen social activities, spiritual involvement in fellowship, and extend Christian love. The J.O.Y. Ministry is open to age 65 and over.
The main objective of the Political Task Force is to counter the culture in which we live with Biblical Christianity and knowledge with the purpose of equipping the saints with an understanding of the times in which we live. It is highly important to keep the local assembly abreast of key issues from our local, state, and federal governments that could have a direct impact on the body of Christ and the wellbeing of our nation, states, and communities. It is important for voters to be empowered and energized through education and a greater awareness of the issues especially regarding candidates who run for public office. Often times Christians fail to realize that the Christian vote can help make or break the society in which we live.
In an effort to equip the saints, the first His View newsletter was presented on July 4, 2004 giving a Christian perspective on controversial political issues affecting today’s culture. Readers are enlightened regarding church/state issues normally not presented by the mainstream media. His View has made its way into churches and neighborhood groups within the community, various counties, businesses, and is distributed via mail or email upon request.
The purpose of the G.I.F.T.S. Ministry (Godly Instructions for Today's Student) is to honor the accomplishments of and equip high school students, grades 8-12 with college preparatory information such as ACT dates, scholarship information and seminars. In addition, the ministry provides a spiritual covering by encouraging and strengthening our college students age 18-23 who are away from home. The G.I.F.T.S. Ministry sends quarterly care packages which consist of a word on CD from our senior pastor, gift cards and more.
